Alien Enemies
EnemyHPSpeedMelee DamageRangedNotes
Alien4Medium1.2 / sec3–16 blocksStandard enemy. Fires red projectiles. Drops O₂ and alien meat
Stalker2Very fast2.0 / secNoneAmbush style. No ranged attack. Closes distance quickly. Purple eyes
Brute10Slow3.5 / sec2–10 blocksTanky. Heavy melee. Large size. Orange eyes. Requires multiple hits
Phantom3Medium0.6 / sec5–22 blocksLong-range sniper. Rapid fire. Cyan eyes. Translucent body. Most dangerous at distance

Combat Tips

  • Space Ray requires 4 hits to kill a standard Alien
  • Brutes take 10 hits - keep moving and use distance
  • Stalkers rush fast - shoot early before they reach you
  • Phantoms outrange you - close in or use cover
  • All enemies drop alien meat on death (55% chance)
  • All enemies drop O₂ on death - prioritise kills when low

Space Ray

Your primary weapon. Fires automatically on left click in open air, or manually with R. Only fires when the Space Ray is your active weapon (slot 1 empty, or slot 1 selected). Deals damage and knockback. Outranges standard alien projectiles.

Alien Swarm Event

A random event that spawns four additional aliens simultaneously. Enemy types are randomised. Stay mobile, use sprint to reposition, and kill fast - every dead alien drops oxygen and possibly alien meat.

Survival Statistics
HPHealth - max 20
O2Oxygen - drains over time, refill by killing enemies
TEMPTemperature hazard
RADRadiation level
XPEarn by mining, placing, crafting, killing, exploring
TIMELunar 24h cycle - enemies only spawn at night

Death occurs when HP or O₂ reaches zero. Sleeping in a bed skips to 6am, restores HP and O₂, and despawns all current enemies.

Survival Tips
Mine Basalt early and build a perimeter wall around your base before night falls
🌑Stay mobile at all times - standing still in the open draws alien swarms
Kill aliens regularly because every dead alien drops the oxygen you need to survive
💾Save often with Ctrl+S. There is no autosave and death wipes your inventory
🔮Anomaly ore is extremely rare - prioritise it in the late game for Crystal Cannon and Alien Alloy
The Space Ray outranges standard alien projectiles but Phantoms can fire farther - close in or use cover
🔥Place Glowsticks in caves and tunnels so you can see enemies approaching from any direction
🛌Craft a Bed early. Sleeping skips to dawn, heals you, and despawns all enemies on the map
🏦H always eats alien meat before using a medpack - hoard your crafted medpacks and eat drops first
💨Stalkers are fast with no ranged attack - shoot them the moment you see them before they close the gap
